I’m a naturopathic doctor in Vancouver, BC with a focus on the holistic treatment of autoimmune disorders and complex chronic disease. My passion is helping active, hard-working women with autoimmunity get their flares under control so they can have the energy and physical activity to do the things they love. 

My journey to naturopathic medicine was an unconventional one. I grew up in a holistic healthcare family - my dad is also a naturopathic doctor and my mom is an acupuncturist so I was aware of what naturopathic medicine could offer from a  young age. However, it wasn’t until I was diagnosed with two autoimmune disorders and had gotten to experience the bleak landscape of conventional autoimmunity healthcare that I realized my path. The lack of support, education and compassion was startling and felt extremely isolating. My rheumatologist cycled me through several drugs before putting me on a biologic at age 21. I didn’t want to be on a biologic for life and didn’t accept that this was the only option so I went to a naturopathic doctor. Their approach was starkly different and involved investigating the root cause of my inflammation, which allowed me to get my autoimmune disorder under control. I fully believe that the reason I went through this experience was so that I could help others navigate autoimmunity and complex chronic disease with empathy and understanding.
